Nearly 60 years ago, Heinz Essmann started the first chapter of the success story that was to become ESSMANN GROUP. Although the company initially focused on selling chipboards for roof extensions, the far-sighted founder of the company quickly decided that this was just not enough. He believed that the future lay in specialising in the challenges posed by flat roof and facade technology and laid the cornerstones that would allow ESSMANN to become one of Europe's leading suppliers today.
In the past, ESSMANN GmbH has built up its strengths by consciously merging with companies offering additional expertise and a means of enhancing the company's central competence in flat roof and facade systems. In order to enable the increased provision of solutions from a single source, ESSMANN GROUP nowadays comprises strong "individualists", such as Lemgo-based STG-BEIKIRCH and Detmold-based MSG, together with French ECODIS and Spanish EURO SISTEMA INCENDIO (E.S.I.) to support its endeavours in Southern Europe. Sales offices in Poland, Hungary, Spain and Russia and representative offices with partners in several other countries, even including the United Arab Emirates, create new and interesting challenges.
